Chapter 9
This chapter deals with a lot of things that I have faced in my own life, thing like having to face the facts and maybe dropping out, or not knowing what to do to succeed in a class. Throughout this chapter I was asking myself why some of my teachers never asked some of those question, why they never did some of the things that were suggested in this chapter. If some of my teachers had I think that I would have done a lot better. Things like simply asking how your students feel about their grade and how they want to make it up to hw here they can succeed in the class. I guess the whole of this chapter is just making the point to teachers that if you want to become a good, or for that matter great teacher you kind of have to care. You have to care about what your students think or what they are thinking. You but if you don’t care because its one of “those” kids then at least pretend you care because you, if there’s nothing at home or these kids, could be the one thing in their life that turns everything around for them, because you at least pretend that you care.
