QR: Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Alright chapter four is nice because I really like how right from the first page it outlines a few types of kids that there are in a class, and after reading them I can see them and pick out the kids who are those kids in my classes. This chapter emphizes that all of these kids are important to the classroom environment and that you really have to pay attention to them and their characteristics. This chapter then goes into how group work should be done. I love this because I really don’t understand yet how to make groups and actually make them work together so that everyone is happy. Chapter five says that you must make far groups so that not just one students is pulling the weight, one solution to this is roles, where each student has a role in the groups and must fulfill the requirements of that role. I think that a great idea, because if you don’t do something one person in a group really does do all of the work.
